How the estimating process works
- Send the file through the intake form.
- File check. We confirm what's there and ask for anything missing before writing starts.
- Photo review. Every photo is reviewed, room by room or slope by slope.
- Estimate written with line notes and code or spec references.
- Delivered with a list of open documentation items. Questions on the estimate are answered.
Turnaround
Guaranteed within 72 hours; most files are back in 48 hours. The clock starts when we have a complete file, so sending everything up front keeps it moving.
Pricing

Estimate + Scope Approval
$125 per file + 2% commission
We write the estimate and work with the carrier to get the written scope of work approved, on behalf of our contractor and public adjuster clients. We don't interpret or argue coverage.
Turnaround: Guaranteed within 72 hours; most files are back in 48 hours.
Updates on your file
We keep you updated throughout. You'll hear from us during the estimating process so you know when your file will be done, and as soon as there's any movement or communication from the adjuster on your file.
File requirements
Interior, mitigation and reconstruction files need a sketch (ESX, or Encircle access so we can import it) and photos labeled by room. We don't hand-draw sketches. Roof files need, at minimum, a roof measurement report (PDF) and photos labeled by elevation plus each slope; an ESX roof sketch is preferred. The 72-hour guarantee starts once we receive a complete file.
What to send
- Photos labeled and organized by room (for roofs: by elevation, front, rear, left and right, plus each slope), plus the rooms or slopes next to the damage
- Sketch in ESX format, or access to your Encircle so we can import the sketch into our system
- The carrier estimate, if one exists
- Drying logs for water losses
